With Armor 2.0, Bungie is fully embracing the RPG potential of its franchise. New weapon and armor mods allow players to mess around with different elements and stats to build a character that fits their play style. Players can not only tweak little things like Resilience but also stats like how fast your abilities recharge. It's an exciting system that hardcore players will love tinkering with. It's also available for every player, regardless of whether or not you purchased Shadowkeep.
Likewise, it’s nice that we finally got a new race of enemies to battle. The Scorn may have some relation to the Fallen, but they look and fight differently. The Scorn brings enemies that rush the player, swing fire-infused maces, attack mid-range and snipe from a distance. They’re not wholly unique from the current crop of enemies, but they provide a good change in pace.
Crucible remains mostly intact outside of quality-of-life improvements. Bringing the player count back up to 6v6 was the right move and the lower time-to-kill vastly improves the experience. The significant multiplayer addition in Forsaken lies with Gambit, a new mode that blends PvE and PvP elements. The 4v4 mode tasks players with killing AI-controlled enemies and collecting and banking motes of light. After accumulating 75 motes, a Primeval enemy appears and the first team to defeat their Primeval wins. Of course, it’s not that simple thanks to the PvP elements. Players can spend motes to summon Blockers on the enemy’s map. Collect enough motes and a player can invade the enemy’s map for a short period.
Unlike Forsaken, Destiny 2: Shadowkeep is a direct sequel to Destiny 2 . Eris Morn has uncovered something deadly on the Moon and accidentally unleashes the Nightmares, ghostly versions of past enemies. With a new threat emerging, the Vanguard quickly dispatches its army of Guardians to put down the Nightmares and discover their dark source.
Maahes HC4 is one of the best Legendary Hand Cannons in the elemental slot. This is thanks to the fact that the Heavy Burst archetype is so good. On top of this, it also has some really good perk combinations. The gun has four different reload perks in both columns, as well as Destabilizing Rounds, and Repulsor Brace for solid Void builds. It's an easy weapon to acquire as w
Destiny 2 Lore 2: Forsaken takes place sometime after the events of the base game. You and Cayde-6 fly to the Prison of Elders to help an old friend, Petra Venj, put down a prison riot, but the trio quickly learns that the riot was orchestrated to cover up the breakout of eight Scorn barons. Rescued by the long-missing Prince Uldren Sov, the nine successfully escape the prison, but not before killing Cayde-6. Fleeing into the Reef, you pursue them to exact your revenge.
You don't even need to own Shadowkeep to enjoy a lot of the expansion's content. The opening mission, the Moon patrol space, the new two new Strikes and the three Crucible maps are available as part of Destiny 2: New Light, the free-to-play version of the game. While the Raid and campaign are sectioned off, there's a lot you can do without owning Shadowkeep (the Seasonal Activities require you own the Season Pass).
The Arms Dealer is one of the more straightforward strikes in the video game . Have your team find their way into a Red Legion ship and take out Braccus Zann. Sounds easy enough? Well, for the most part, it is quite easy, especially when compared to other strikes in the game. Players never really feel overwhelmed with enemies in this strike nor does precise teamwork matter in overcoming all obstacles presented. Not to mention that this is one of the easiest boss fights in the game, making this a strike that few should find difficult making their way thro
Making Halo Infinite a platform for future content instead of just the "next Halo game" is a major leap into the future for the franchise. It’s promising that players who buy into Halo Infinite on Xbox One can look forward not only just to instant access to the next-gen version of the game through Smart Delivery , but potentially years of continuous content that builds on itself in meaningful ways. Not every move that 343 makes with their platform is going to be a winner, but it’s exciting to think about how the Halo universe will evolve throughout the life of **Halo Infinite
No matter if playing a Titan, Hunter or Warlock, each subclass now comes with an additional Attunement within it adding some spectacular new powers. Take the Warlocks Dawnblade which now has Attunement of Grace allowing for a super that slams a flaming sword into the ground creating a super rift that does AoE damage, is twice as large as a regular rift and grants both healing with empowering capabilities at the same time. It’s the ultimate team work class. Get to known the new Attunements because they are more than fun -- they’re worth it. Getting these new Attunements isn’t easy, though, as Guardians will have to collect Visions of Light an item that looks like a glowing blue feather that only drops from powerful enemies. After enough have been collected, a quest will appear guiding the Guardian forward. The entire Attunement doesn’t unlock right away either, Forsaken wants the player to feel like they’ve earned being more powerful. Unlocking all the sub-classes won’t be done in a day and that’s a good thing.
