The photo of the Condemned shows a humanoid of some sort wearing what looks to be a some sort of metal neck brace. In Resident Evil lore, given that the Orphanage was testing a T-Virus strain on children that would increase the odds of a human host accepting extreme mutations into Tyrants, it is possible the Condemned may have been one of these experiments that was only semi-successful; the host may have failed to transform into a Tyrant, but also did not die in the process either, which is often the case when trying to find a viable human host to become a Tyr

Why stop at giving the game a graphics overhaul? Add GTA Online to Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and give players an experience they never expected. Rockstar Games must know there is plenty of demand for this remake. It's time to take act

ss_33d8f3ebdb80c11da5f192d7d28d045f03710For fans of these classic titles, remastered and re-released games will no doubt prove hugely worthwhile. However, looking into Capcom’s original games of late, a lot has been found wanting, with a lacklustre critical response to some of the company’s most recent blockbusters. In short, some of Capcom’s output has been disappointing for fans who expect the level of quality that it has historically been able to prov

Also shown in the unlocked concept art (above left) is another enemy that never made it to the final cut of the game, known as the Licker Zombie. It looks like a humanoid version of the four-legged Licker, or a zombie with a Licker's head, and similarly clawed hands. Given that Lickers are mutant humans infected with a particular strain of the T-Virus which can only be obtained from an already-mutated Zombie (known as the V-ACT process), it is possible that the Licker Zombie would have been a Licker that did not fully mutate yet and was only in its early sta

However, it looks like this game franchise could be a victim of attrition and "falling interest." It's the same reason why the movie sequel always seems not to do as well. If the numbers are low for RE3 , the chances are high that the same will happen to an RE4 rem

For Resident Evil 2 and 3 , you are put right in the middle of the corruption of Racoon City and the Umbrella Corporation. They haven't done right by their people, and Leon (in Resident Evil 2 ) and Jill ( Resident Evil 3 ) are there to get to the bottom of what's going

One look at Capcom’s projects in-progress also backs up these claims. The company has just unveiled plans to enter into the mobile market with gusto , but rather than focusing on brand new intellectual properties, instead some of the first mobile titles of this new strategy will be based on beloved franchises such as Mega Man and Monster Hunter . Meanwhile, fans after a brand new and full Mega Man release are still left wanting – and have been so for years

In the remake of Resident Evil 2, this walking, moving, humanoid form of the creature was absent, and instead, Plant 43 was a giant genetically engineered plant in the east wing of Umbrella's NEST facility, but was dormant and did not actually attack the player. Instead, it infected corpses and zombies, creating human and plant hybrids called Ivy Zombies, which was a new enemy-type in Resident Evil 2 Rem

Although members from the modding community have attempted to revitalize Half-Life 2 by improving its graphics, there is only so much developers can do with the game. In its current state, Half-Life 2 can only change slightly. A remake from the ground-up is precisely what the game ne

There will also be multiple routes that Jill can take to reach her objective, which will give players a chance to strategize which path would be the safest to take, especially when Nemesis can just pop in at any moment. Moreover, the city will remain recognizable to fans but will obviously be richer in detail and will employ a faithful '90s aesthe

One returning location that players will be able to explore is the Stagla gas station from the 1999 adventure game updates. Resident Evil 3 veterans would remember that it is in the gas station where the oil can be found, which has to be mixed with an oil additive before it can be used to restart the cable car. Players would also remember that immediately after leaving the area, the gas station would blow up, and it will be interesting to see whether this will also happen in the rem

GoldenEye 007: Reloaded, which released for various platforms such as the PlayStation 3, is as close as we've gotten to a GoldenEye 007 remake. Although it did well with critics, it wasn't the remake we anticipated. Here's hoping they make another attempt at remaking GoldenEye

After all, new releases, be they brand new intellectual properties or sequels to core series, are the bread and butter of all game development teams. When it comes to the bottom line, that is where Capcom needs to keep the majority of its focus, and that is where the future classics will be coming from – not from remakes of games that have already been released several times o
